Visions
Arts Link is a cross border project which utilises
the medium of arts to complete a number of projects. An integral part
of the project is improving
socialisation skills.
This year as well as meeting with our partner school
in Carlingford and Belfast, we also used the internet to stay in contact.
Arts projects completed include making a book about “Special Objects
and Our Community”. We also made a five minute documentary, entitled“A
Journey Through the School Day”.
All students
were involved in this through acting, interviewing, editing, filming,
make up, costume design, props etc etc.
The final phase of the project
involved creating a music video. We choose our song, interpreted the
lyrics and along with our partner school we made a video.
All students thoroughly enjoyed it.
PVU 1 and Ms. Kelly have made a wonderful film.
